James and published by Tartarus Press, as well as a body of work drawn from the landscapes, villages, flora and fauna of Keith’s beloved East Sussex.

Alongside these, you’ll find a vibrant and colourful collection of prints created using the linocut reduction method, focusing on the insects and birds which inhabit this beautiful corner of the British Isles.

For those interested in learning the craft of wood engraving, Keith offers the opportunity to join a series of hands-on classes. These sessions, held in his studio in East Hoathly, Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to refine your technique, you can book a place and experience the process of creating your own prints under Keith’s expert guidance.

Product Details

It is no secret I'm incredibly inspired by my native landscape. The interaction of the human hand is so ancient - that many do not quite grasp how much of the natural world we hold dear is in fact the result of human intervention for thousands of years. The South Downs is an obvious example, and this engraving is a reflection of this- this timeless landscape; Mount Caburn and Firle Beacon viewed from near Ditchling Beacon. A landscape completely shaped by generations bending the land to their will in an effort to survive. A landscape of shepherds and flintmen (and everyone between).

As with all my engravings it is printed onto a high quality hand made acid free paper this print is in an edition of 100 and measure 140mm x 110mm. Postage and packaging is included within the price
