Inspired by Kipling's poem 'The way through the woods'; "Only the keeper sees That, where the ring-dove broods, And the badgers roll at ease, There was once a road through the woods".
Printed by hand on an 1849 Albion Press from the original engraved block 140mm x 100mm, on Libre Arches mould made paper. In an edition of 125, each signed and numbered by the artist.
