Shining Cliff was originally engraved for the
White Peak Distilling Company for their Gin 'Shining Cliff'. Named after an extensive area of woodland which was at one time a royal hunting Forest. During the 18th Century a family of charcoal burners took up residency in an ancient and hollow yew tree within the woods. Legend has it that the way the family's baby was cradled in a hollowed out bough of the tree gave rise to the nursery song 'Rock-a-bye-baby'.As with all my engravings it is printed from the original block onto a high quality hand made acid free paper this print is in an edition of 200 and measure 120mm x 90mm. It comes mounted but not framed. UK Postage and packaging is included within the price
