Product Details

I became fascinated by a theory that attempted to explain why the Pyramids of Giza were slightly out of line. The theory went that they were in fact a terrestrial map of Orion's belt, and if that was excepted, it appeared (according to this theory) that the Nile traced the course of the Milky Way in this land based star map. Inspired by this thought, this night time engraving of Lewes Castle, the Milky Way is echoing the course of the River Ouse, with the full moon (roughly) where Lewes sits on the river.

Printed from the original block on mould made Zerkel paper in an edition of 175.

Print measures 120mm x 120mm.

P&P included to all UK address.
