What lies beneath is an exciting exhibition of the work of Keith Pettit - an artist that is for ever inspired by the Sussex landscape at the iconic Coastguards Cottages at Cuckmere Haven. He is planning to bring together his well known delicate wood engravings and his wonderful organic elm sculptures, including a planned large scale sculpture on the beach here at Cuckmere Haven, which has just been funded by a successful Crowd Funding appeal. The sculpture will be a collaboration with Charlie Groves and will be a series of steam bent chestnut spheres placed across the beach. Also, until now unseen poetry for the first time during this years Artwave arts festival.
The exhibition will run weekends, from the 17th of August to the 1st of September. Click on the link through to the Artwave festival website (above) more information about opening times, and neighbours who are also part of the art trail.
