After leaving education I pursued a career as a traditional signwriter. Frustrated by the crafts limits on my ability to really explore my creativity fully. I came to the realisation, eventually that art was my true calling. Since making that change I have been constantly surprised just how exciting life can be when you fulfil your day dreams. Although, I am still driven by the frustration caused by having more ideas cramming my head than I have time and opportunity.

"Whatever Keith turns his hands to there is an obvious love for the materials he uses, the landscape and his local community.  His memorial to the Elm Tree is a perfect example of this, Keith is creating work that is not only bold, beautiful and magnificent in scale he is also raising awareness of this special and endangered tree building support for its continued protection.”
